Every metal building we build at Missouri Metal Buildings is custom. That means no two projects are exactly alike — and no price list can capture what your building will actually cost. Here's why.
Your building's price is determined by dozens of factors specific to your project, your site, and your goals. A 40x60 shop in Pittsburg, Missouri is a completely different project than a 40x60 shop in Topeka, Kansas — different wind codes, different snow loads, different site conditions, different foundation requirements.
That's why we don't publish price lists. Any number you see online is either outdated, oversimplified, or doesn't apply to your situation.
When you request a quote from Missouri Metal Buildings, here's what we're actually engineering for:
Larger buildings require heavier steel framing. Clear-span designs (no interior columns) require additional engineering. Both affect material cost significantly.
Every county and municipality has different building codes for wind speed, snow load, seismic zone, and frost depth. Our engineers design to your specific location — not a generic national standard.
An agricultural hay storage building is engineered differently than a commercial warehouse or an aircraft hangar. Insulation requirements, door sizes, electrical rough-in, and liner panels all vary by use.
Every overhead door, walk door, window, and skylight requires additional framing. The number, size, and placement of openings directly affects the structural design.
Panel color, gauge, finish type, insulation system, gutters and downspouts — these all vary by project and affect both performance and cost.
Soil bearing capacity, slope, drainage, and access all affect foundation design and erection cost. We can't quote accurately without understanding your site.
The building kit is one cost. The foundation is a separate scope driven entirely by your soil conditions, building use, and local frost depth requirements.
Labor cost varies by region, crew availability, building complexity, and site access. We can connect you with trusted erectors in your area.
Some companies post price ranges online because it generates clicks. We don't — because it sets the wrong expectations and wastes your time.
A quote that doesn't account for your location, your codes, your site, and your intended use isn't a real quote. It's a guess dressed up as information.
We'd rather spend 15 minutes on the phone understanding your project and give you a real number.
